MENACE TO SOCIETY
Just when Kenya’s president and prime minister have sealed the peace deal and as the country rises from the post election ashes the outlawed Mungiki sect made a comeback yesterday morning. These butchers of men paralised the transport system and drew blood in a well organised strike around the country in a way similar to terrorist cells. Can our security forces cripple and destroy these day walking vampires once and for all? Kenyans certainly can’t keep up with the Mungiki’s reign of terror.
They prawl
They pounce
They claim
They terrorize
Illegitimate protectors
Self proclaimed rulers
Blood sucking leeches
Day walking vampires
Ruthless slayers of the innocent
I speak like a human scorned
I’m sick and tired like everone else is
of the butchers of men
But what goes around comes around
Their very weapons shall be used against them
And the nightmares they brought upon the innocent
shall be their own
In movies I’ve watched undercover super cops destroy deadly ‘enemies of the people’.Do we have a kenyan equivalent of these super heroes? Let me know what you think.
